Dr. Fröhlich and his colleagues perform over 1,500 operations and interventions a year at the Center for Foot and Ankle. They are sought-after speakers at national and international congresses. The spectrum includes minimally invasive procedures as well as complex hindfoot operations including ankle endoprosthetics.

As head of the clinical part of the multicentre study project “German Spine Study”, Prof. Dr. Linhardt heads the Center for Spinal Surgery at the OZA, which performs around 200 surgical procedures per year. Injection and radiofrequency therapy under X-ray control, endoscopic and microsurgical techniques as well as complex difficult spinal stabilizations are regularly performed.

Dr. Demhartner performs approx. 250 hip endoprostheses and 200 hip arthroscopies per year based on his experience from over 10,000 operations in all areas of orthopaedics/trauma surgery.

Dr. Neumann has many years of experience in performing endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery using the incision technique, having performed over 6,000 procedures of this type.

Digital direct radiography, digital image storage for over 15 years, the latest server technology, three-dimensional volume tomography (fine-layer CT with reduced radiation exposure and increased image resolution), high-resolution sonography, foot pressure measurement with three-dimensional video pedobarography, digital X-ray imaging technology are the state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment. They also enable targeted pain therapy under visual control. The specialists apply the ideal combination of treatment, including focused shock wave therapy and kinesiology taping, adapted on a case-by-case basis. High-quality MRI examinations complement the diagnostic possibilities at the OZA.
